Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ‘BJJ’ also helps develop your child’s hand-eye coordination and allows them to understand the concept of balance and control. To succeed at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ‘BJJ’ kids are forced to focus, stay disciplined, fit and healthy all while cultivating friendships at a young age. Each class focuses on honing the skills of the kids. Each Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ‘BJJ’ class breeds a quiet confidence in a child and they become humble. Every child has their good and bad days, some times they win, other times they learn, when they get tapped out.  Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ‘BJJ’ classes are tailored to suit the need of the kids, where they have holes in their game. Kids learn the BJJ basics mainly in a Gi.  They also learn how to stand up against bullies and subsequently deal with such situations without using force or violence because they know they can defend themselves. The sport is built around respecting your opponents and team members alike, instilling similar attributes in the kids from a young age.

Our classes are designed for the beginners who can work up through practice. At our northern suburbs academy, we have warm ups sessions, structured learning and techniques, free style rolling and games to keep our kids engaged. Our goal is to teach self defence, but it also focuses on making a fun experience for the kids. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Perth program for kids is designed to help them to learn the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu basics from a young age, by our expert coaches. Kids strive to learn because they are aware that they need to perform in class, with a good attitude, in order to level up in Jiu Jitsu. Our BJJ belt systems is in line with the BJJ standards, set by the Gracie family. The ranking system as follows:

• White belt

• Grey White belt

• Gray belt

• Grey/Black belt

• Yellow belt

• Yellow/White belt

• Orange belt belt

• Green belt belt

All kids between the age of 3+ to 12 years old can register for the classes.
